Happy B-day bebes!

It's Eddy's 31st B-day today and how better to celebrate than with cake, a cigar cake! Here is a pretty normal family picture...YAY, finally everyone looking!

New hobby...

As is having 3 kids is not enough...I pick up yet another hobby! So now I want to bake!!! Did I mention I am nursing Dylan. What is wrong with me?? 3 cakes in one week...and 2 in one day, talk about crazy! I do love the way they each came out and boy were they yummy! Here are a few pics...

MNO @ Daniel's

So the Park Grove Mommies went on the monthly MNO and boy did we make the best of it! We went to Daniel's on Main. I love Daniel's, Eddy and I have eaten there before, but they recently opened the new one, here in Fuquay! It is literally the one the best authentic Italian resturants I have ever eaten in, very similiat to Anacapri in Miami! YUMMO! We had the waiter take a few pics...

A long, busy day!

Bright and early we were at the park today! I took the boys to the park today and meet up with Lisa and the boys. Ever since Colin and Carson left South Wake Preschool, the boys ask for them daily, so Lisa and I planned a play date. They had so much fun, we even took a trip to a dock which needless to say was rocking...Isabella came along to and although she was the only girl, she was just as good going up and down the slides...We will definietly return to Harris Lake Park , I loved it, next time we will grill and do some water activities...

Lookie Lookie...I made a cake! Today we celebrated JoJo's B-day at Monkey Joe's and JoJo's nickname is monkey so I baked him this...It came out sooooooooooo cute and yummy!

Monkey Joe's

The boys loved Monkey Joe's. It's a HUGE! It has like 4 huge inflatables and an additional 3-4 bounce houses, it was amazing! There were a lot of kids but the boys managed to stay together the majority of the time so that made it easy to follow them around. JoJo had a great time too, and Bella well let's just say, she loves icing!

Happy 4th of July from our family to yours...

My 2 month old and some summer FUN!

So Chera & I took the kids to the new water park in Miami. They had a blast and I think I am going to take them again before we go. The only trick to it, is to be there at 9:00, it was quite empty, then all hell broke loose when the school's summer camps arrived (way too many kids) and then Chera and I decided to leave since keeping up with 5 kids was insane (Christopher, Caitlyn, Ethan, Evan, and Gavin)

Here is my munshkin...he turned 2 months old yeaterday and weighing a whooping 12 lbs! He is smiling now and looking soooo much like Eddy. He is also nursing 100% better, perhaps because his mouth is bigger...lol. He is getting a lot of carrying time which is going to be tough when we home, but he did meet his great grandparents, cousins, and family! Here he is with his cousins Christopher, Caitlyn, Derek, and his brothers Ethan and Evan. Derek was surprised to finally see someone his age...

Welcome to Miami...

yes my friends, I am in Miami AGAIN! So I was home as my parents were packing (they were in NC for 6 days) and decided that why not come down since afterall I am on a mini-vacation (Maternity leave). So here I am in my old surroundings, the food, the palm trees, the loud atmosphere. Do I miss Fuquay? of course afterall that is my home, my quiet haven, and where I plan to raise my boys, but for a few days I will enjoy my heritage, the typical Cuban food and flair, pastries, and even the LOUD Cubans! Bebes, I miss you!

I almost forgot!

We had a HAIL storm...SCARY! In the end of May...how bizarre. I was in the kitchen after picking up the boys early from school, I was getting their dinner ready. As I look out the kitchen window I noticed small little particles landing on the grass, I looked up and the sky looked weird, almost like a tornado. It then started falling like torpidos, I thought the windows were going to shatter. The boys got scared when I yelled, "Get in the laundry room" then seconds later Eddy came down stairs saying the same thing. It was over in a few minutes, but it was scary as HELL!

Dylan's not so little friend...

this is Zaki, my neighbor Melissa's little boy. I took care of him today and he was a true delight. He is 7 weeks older than Dylan and just look at him...what a ham. Dylan looked like a little bug...lol, I wish you could of seen me feeding them (of course they were hungry at the same time) to my left, nursing Dylan to the right holding the bottle while Zaki sat on the bouncer...what a picture, what a scrapbook page!

My 3 boys!

so I never imagined being the mom of 3 boys! WOW...is life here in the Quintana household crazy or what??? Wake up at 5, bathe, feed Dylan before the other 2 wake-up, then bathe them, drive them to school and then it's just Dylan and I and somewhere along the day squeeze in the gym, pump, clean, cook, and rest! Forget scrapbooking, what is that??? My parents will be here on Thursday and I hope to get a day and scrap away!!!!!!! Wish me luck! Talk about luck, tomorrow I am watching Zaki, my neighbor Melissa's 4 month old little boy. I hope to God it's a good day, 2 babies 2 1/2 months apart...CRAZY! Here is a picture with my little guys! So we took the kids to Johnson Lake Pool and as ususal they had a great time, this time Isabella came along with her mom Ana and they too loved it! Here are a few pics of the kids...

6 weeks and chunky!

He is finally filling in his clothes! Dylan is now wearing a size...0-3! WooHoo! It's all weight gain from here on! So the boys are doing well, yesterday was their first playdate with the kids in the community. Since they attend preschool, I took them late and they had a blast! Here are a few pics!

My belated Mother's Day gift!

YAY! we finally got rid of the leased Explorer and check out what I got! The one car I swore I'd never drive...yes my friends, it's a mini-van! I never imagined driving one especially at the age of 32, but hey priorities change and with 3 boys what else I say. I LOVE my new car!It s soooooooooo roomy! The 2008 Chysler Town & Country will be mine for years to come...

1 Month Old...

My little Dylan is one month today, so what better way to celebrate than getting some portraits taken! Here we are, all 5 of us!

3 weeks old...and a fractured clavicle.

no no no, not the baby! but Evan did fracture his right clavicle (collar bone) while sleeping and falling off my bed. NOT FUN! he has had pain, but ever since his pediatrician placed the ace wrap on his shoulders, he is much better. As far as the healing goes, he should be 100% in 4 weeks or so. Now to Dylan...he is gaining weight FINALLY! I really thought I would have to supplement but I guess my breast milk is now in full affect. he is still a little one, but soon enough he will be a chunky monkey! Ethan has done so well in school, I am so thankful, but his listening here at home is about the same, he is stubborn, just like momma! Eddy brought home a turtle yesterday, but because of the solmonella issue, I think he are going to give it away...

One Week Old...

Well since I am just now getting around to posting these, he is now 9 days old, but you get the point! He is growing by the day and in no time he will be a chunky monkey! I am so loving his chubby cheeks and handsome little face, but most of all I am so in love with my new little munskin!
